How to help families affected by Hurricane Harvey

United Way Bay Area stands with those affected by Hurricane Harvey, a storm of epic proportions AND the response needed is of epic proportions.

The Texas and Louisiana communities affected are currently in response mode, assessing the needs of the more than 21,000 individuals in shelters across the region.

United Way’s 2-1-1 call centers are taking calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering resources for those affected by the storm and advice on how you can support the relief effort. Texas 2-1-1 call centers have responded to more than 100,000 calls as of 8/30/17.
