CLOSING THE GAP BETWEEN SUPPLY AND DEMAND

One of United Way Bay Area’s toughest fights is helping individuals and families afford and access food and other basic needs. In a region as expensive as ours, the pandemic has made coping with and recovering from crisis more difficult than ever. Fortunately, there are partners like Janssen.

Thanks to the many donors and volunteers who gave to Janssen’s Virtual Food Drive and Spring Diaper Drive, we were able to provide more than 3,800 food and baby care items to families in our care.

We could not fulfill our mission without the generosity of our community and hard work of our nonprofit partners, who continually run out of items essential to helping people with low to moderate incomes build up their savings, and plan for the future of their families.
