Financial Stability

Support families and individuals to thrive financially

The Problem:

1 in 4 Bay Area residents struggles to get by.

Government, individuals, businesses, and nonprofits may not agree on everything, but we all want to live in a thriving community.

The Solution:

United Way Bay Area is uniquely positioned

to bring together whole sectors and provide the funding and support to tackle our region’s most pressing challenges.

SparkPoint

As part of our two-generation approach, these one-stop centers—often located right on community school campuses—offer a variety of free services to help struggling parents, which in turn helps their children thrive in school. On college campuses, SparkPoint services help youth and young adults stay in school and get access to services that help them on a path to a successful career.
