Welcome from Solano County Supervisor Cassandra James

Displacement and Racial Inequities – Presentation from Marc Dones, Policy Director at the Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative.

3.

Lunch with screening of the documentary, “Beyond the Bridge.” – How can this country solve homelessness in a comprehensive way? The film is focused on changing the national discourse on solutions to homelessness, addressing the upstream causes of homelessness, and addressing the downstream via housing and robust supportive services in combination.

4.

After the screening there will be a panel discussion as well as actionable calls-to-action and follow-up activities for audience and community members. Panelists include:

  1. Jackie Jones, Vallejo Together – advocacy for unsheltered people in Vallejo
  2. DeAndre Richard, Caminar – outreach and case management services
  3. Melvin Cowan, Enough Housing
