Milwaukee, Wisconsin sits on the shore of Lake Michigan, about an hour north of Chicago. It is home to Harley-Davidson, a couple of pro sports teams and dozens of breweries. Around the country, Milwaukee is known for squeaky cheese curds, bitterly cold winters and now – surprise! – for being the largest county in the US to end chronic homelessness.
The Bigger Vision filmmakers spent a week talking to those involved in the effort, as well as formerly homeless folks who have been helped by the effort. So how did Milwaukee do it? Watch to find out.
