The Board of Directors is composed of 9 to 15 members and oversees the fiduciary duties of the organization by steering the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical and legal governance, as well as by making sure the organization has adequate resources to advance its mission. The Board reviews and approves the strategic plan for the organization and oversees governance for the board and Advisory Council. Board members are expected to serve on at least one board committee in addition to the Board. Board of Directors meetings are held six (6) times per year.
