VOLUNTEER TO BUILD A STRONGER BAY AREA

June 17, 2021

Volunteer with heart

Day of Action

This year marks the 14th annual United Way Day of Action, a global day of service that recognizes the importance of volunteering and engages thousands of individuals to build stronger, more equitable communities on and around June 21.

Hundreds of United Ways and their partners around the world will inform, thank, recruit, and direct volunteers to opportunities to give their time, talent, and resources. Volunteers read, tutor, and mentor youth online, help older adults live independently in their homes, combat social isolation among refugees, run COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and much more.

We invite you to get in on the action by joining us to help sort, pack, and distribute food items to individuals and families without reliable access to affordable, nutritious food. Click for details.

If you can’t join us for this event but want an opportunity to connect with other people passionate about improving lives in the Bay Area, visit United Way Bay Area to sign up for an activity that meets your skills, interest, and availability. We look forward to working with you!
