The United Way Bay Area hosted a webinar to share information about our recently released Housing Grants. Kevin Jenkins, United Way Bay Area’s Director, Housing Justice Initiative, was on hand to answer questions about the RFP/grant process, application, requirements, and any other questions that arose.
The UWBA Housing Justice Initiative is focused on advancing Housing Justice for Bay Area residents with a focus on equity; By advancing policies that advance housing justice at state and local levels; by redressing past discriminatory housing policies that disenfranchised communities of color; and by fighting for housing stability and affordability.
The UWBA mobilizes the Bay Area to dismantle the root causes of poverty and build equitable pathways to prosperity. Through initiatives and policy change, we provide immediate and long-term support for employment, housing, financial stability, and meeting basic needs.
*The deadline for RFPs has passed. Please contact us for future information on Housing Justice Initiative Grants.
