About our Free Tax Help
We lead, support, and mobilize a coalition of partners and organizations, and as part of the national Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, in providing tax assistance at no cost to the Bay Area residents that need it most, ensuring taxpayers maximize their refunds by claiming Earned Income Tax Credits. Additionally, we conduct outreach campaigns to increase awareness, and ultimately access, to these credits, which have been shown to be the most effective poverty-fighting tool across the country.
